 A
beautiful photosynthetic gorgonian that features a deep purple color with
thin cylindrical branches. This particular species
features long, thin branches and has a softer tissue
than many other gorgonians similar to the purple frilly. Gorgonians regularly
shed tissue to remove buildup of sediment and algae from forming
on their skeleton. We offer single specimens mounted on reef plugs that range from 6-8"
tall.
