 This
beautiful species of red macro algae features a beautiful blue/green
coloration with iridescent qualities. It grows in large clumps
with tight alternating branches attached to substrate or other
hard surfaces. For optimal
growth and coloration, we suggest the use of full spectrum lighting.
Hypnea isn't native to Florida waters but is an imported
algae aqua cultured at our facility. This
particular species is only offered as a small 1-2" sized
portion.
