 A
very unique red macro algae species that features a stunning
iridescent quality of blue and green when viewed at different
angles. It's base coloration will vary depending on the lighting,
but most specimens are reddish brown to green in appearance. It's an
encrusting type of algae similar to Hypnea pannosa that grows in
horizontal, dense clumps on hard bottom and in sandy substrate.
Sold as a single specimen. Sizes vary between 3-4" in
diameter.
