 We
use these snails exclusively in our facility to keep our
aquaculture tanks and sand beds clean. They are herbivores that love diatom algae and will also
control green film algae. These are some of the hardiest snails to keep, because if they fall they
can easily right themselves before predation, unlike star snails.
Adults will continually deposit strings of eggs all over during
the night which can be a food source for fish and other inverts.
The size will vary between 1/2" to 1" long. These
snails are only available in lots of 10.
