 This
is a somewhat rare and slow growing species of Laurencia
that is found in both the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic. An
attractive red algae species featuring rounded tips to each
individual branch. It has a deep red coloration with iridescent
blue-greenish-purple tips. This particular species only grows in
very small compact clumps with a mature size of onlyabout 6".
We offer a single
specimen that is
2-3" in diameter.
