 This
particular red algae grows in tight clumps in the intertidal zone.
It features stiff, rubbery, spiney branches that extend into
irregular branchlets. The coloration varies between yellow, orange
and red. Typically a shallow water species that requires good water
flow and moderate to high light to grow in the aquarium. We
harvest this species from the Atlantic on patch reefs so it
requires fairly good water quality to keep successfully long term. You will
receive a portion that is approx 6-8" tall.
